Miree Barn wood projects
Reclaimed barn wood is an ever popular material for many reasons but it's rustic character is most prominent, it sort of says "I've been around, seen some things, and I have stories." This wood is a precious resource and we love working with it. At Silver Chisel we take pride in knowing that craftsmen of yesteryear used similar tools, smelled the same sawdust, and created amazing projects of all shapes and sizes with this material.
The projects for Miree were challenging and a perfect combination of precision craftsmanship and rustic imperfection. Check out the images below to see how we turned a pile of old wood into a beautiful desk, credenza, shelves, a bench and even a doggie gate.
““Thank you so much, Jason. I can’t believe that you took a 2 minute rough description of what I like and created this incredible space for me. I am still in utter awe and disbelief. I’m excited to share your work with the world”.”
